One of the primary goals of Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence is to provide scholarships for graduating Batavia High School seniors. Our hope is to ease the financial burden that College and Trade Schools put on students and their families. Each of our scholarships are targeted towards different types of students and tailored towards different majors/future career paths they may be headed towards. Many of them are named to honor Batavia residents who made a large impact on the community.

More than 100 alumni reunited this March at Pal Joey’s to share stories and honor the "golden era" of Valley hoops. For decades, the gyms of the Fox Valley have echoed with the sounds of squeaking sneakers, the roar of the crowds, and the strategic instructions of legendary coaches. While the games eventually end, the community built within those four walls remains. Thanks to the vision of Coach Jim Roberts, that history is being kept alive through the annual Fox Valley Basketball Reunion.
